In addition to its unique geometry, the V-ISO Turn features innovative substrate and grades, specifically tailored for material groups commonly used in the miniature and medical industry.

V-ISO Turn Grades
VH8 - CVD
A highly dense and hard nanostructured coating base material, including a thick CVD grade (around 20 micron) with improved wear resistance, providing superior performance during high-speed turning operations. First choice for Steel. Only pressed inserts.
VH10 - PVD
A micro-grain substrate combined with a thin optimized nanostructure PVD coating with excellent heat dissipation solution for general turning of stainless steel and Heat Resistant Super Alloys (HRSA). First choice for Stainless Steel.
V07 - Uncoated
Uncoated carbide micro-grain grade, characterized by excellent resistance to abrasive wear and toughness, making it suitable for a wide range of machining operations. Very sharp around 25 degrees. Specifically tailored for Aluminum alloys. Can be used for other Non-Ferrous materials as well (copper for example).
VH7 - PVD
A hard micro-grain substrate combined with a thin optimized nanostructure PVD coating (around 1.5 micron) with excellent heat dissipation. First choice for Heat Resistant Super Alloys (HRSA) and Stainless Steel.
