The NEW MITM - Multi-Flute Indexable Thread Milling line is designed to reduce cycle time when generating large threads by using long inserts in a multiple-flute holder.  Utilizing up to 8 carbide indexable inserts, MiTM allows significant increases in feed rates and reduced number of thread machining passes.  MiTM is designed for excellent stability in deep holes, with tool cutting diameters as small as 17 mm.  MiTM tools make use of two cutting edges per insert, considerably extending tool life.

The addition of the new family of Thread Milling Shell Mill holders together with the large number of standard and conical holder styles significantly extends the application range of this high-productivity tool.
